Remembrance is a soulful endeavor. It is often a time of mixed emotions. On Yom Kippur during our Yizkor service we remember. May the precious memories of our loved ones help inspire us to live ever more vibrant and meaningful lives. We remember their love, their support, and their values.  In this way, we continue to make their memory a blessing.

Congregation Beth Am honors the memory of our departed loved ones by publishing a Book of Remembrance as we recount their names and their deeds that brought greater light into the world. A meaningful way of honoring the memory of your loved one is to combine the obligation of reciting the Yizkor prayers with the mitzvah of Tzedakah as a living tribute and as a token offering towards building a better world for future generations just as they did for us.

We are inspired by acts of loving kindness and Tzedakah from our community. Thank you for believing in the work that we do and allowing us to continue to lead our congregation with passion and love for our community and our shared traditions.

Please fulfill an offering of chai or double-chai per loved one. If you are able to contribute more than the suggested amount or would like to underwrite the entire cost of producing the Book of Remembrance, please consider an increased offering.

We are grateful for this kind donation and for your ongoing support!
