Join Us for an Inspiring Evening!

Hey everyone! We're super excited about our next big event on March 9th from 5:30-8:00 PM at a cozy private home in Rancho Santa Fe. It's called the "Sharsheret Cancer Support... Healthy Living Workshop" and it's going to be an amazing night filled with inspiration, education, and community vibes.

This event is for all female members of Beth Am, from ages 18 to 100+. It's never too late to get to learn about your body and keeping it healthy!


We'll kick things off with a light dinner, and then dive into some incredible activity & speakers:

  • Pink Hamentaschen Making: Take home and bake for our loved ones (or just for ourselves)
  • Nutritionist Speaker: The awesome Angelea Bruce, RD, CSO, OPN-CG, will share tips on healthy living.
  • Breast Cancer Survivor Speaker: Our very own Hillary Liber will share her powerful story.
  • D'var Torah: Join us as Debbie Kornberg, a Jewish educator, business owner, and wife of Rabbi Kornberg, shares her words of wisdom.

Cost: $18.00 (100% of the proceeds go directly to Sharsheret - A Jewish Breast & Ovarian Cancer Community)

Angelea Bruce, RD, CSO, OPN-CG - Sharp HealthcareNutritionist Speaker: Angelea Bruce, RD, CSO, OPN-CG

Angelea Bruce is a Registered Dietitian, Board-Certified Oncology Nutrition Specialist, and Oncology Patient Navigator-Certified Generalist at the Cancer Centers of Sharp Healthcare. She is passionate about communicating accurate, evidence-based nutrition information to anyone living with cancer, from time of diagnosis through survivorship. Her goal is to empower people to make healthful, impactful decisions about how they nourish their bodies before, during, and after treatment. She is past-president of the San Diego Chapter of the American Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition and was a presenter at the 2024 Oncology Nutrition Symposium, speaking on the topic of the oncology dietitian as patient navigator. She will be speaking at the Sharp Women's Health Conference later this month on the hot topics of sugar and ultra-processed foods. In her free time, she enjoys cooking and doing all the fun things that San Diego has to offer with her husband and three young adult children.
