Join us for a special Tikkun Leil Shavuot and Zimrat Yah Service! It will be a night of learning and singing, where we will sing songs and learn texts about the land and people of Israel. This evening will be a melodic educational journey and give us all a chance to center and connect.
Light refreshments will be served.
What is a Tikkun Leil Shavuot? Traditionally, a Tikkun Leil Shavuot is an all-night study session to mark the significance of the holiday. Shavuot, the “Feast of Weeks,” is celebrated seven weeks after Passover (Pesah). On the Eve of Shavuot, after the holiday meal, many people stay awake through the night to study and learn about a variety of topics based on ancient or modern texts, Jewish history, or current events. We will spend the first few hours of the night exploring religious texts and the songs associated with them.
