About Women's Circle Hiking and Helping Group: Each third Tuesday (9:00 am) of the month as we alternate between easy to moderate hikes on the local trails, and fun service projects at a variety of San Diego organizations. This month we will be doing a service project and working with PRODUCE GOODS. Read below to find out more and/or contact Vera Pieknagura or Patrice Gold for more information.

This Month:

We will be working with PRODUCE GOODS, a food recovery organization but not a traditional one. They go to the source of surplus produce (orchards, backyards, farms, farmers markets and grocers) to glean the excess and then transport it to pantries, shelters and other organizations who feed food insecure people in San Diego County.

How to Help Out: 

We will be picking at private homes in Rancho Santa Fe. Since you will be picking at private homes, they will only share the address with the volunteers who sign up. Two days before the event, they will send the address and more information in our confirmation email to everyone who signed up.
