Exceptional Teachers and Administrators Who Place Every Child First
In keeping with our school philosophy, Beth Am Preschool provides an environment in which children come first, where each child feels unique and is encouraged to reach his or her own potential. This warm, nurturing and welcoming environment is created by our highly trained and dedicated teaching team. All teachers and assistant teachers meet, and in most cases exceed, the State of California requirements for early childhood education. Beth Am Preschool strives to retain teachers for many years. As the school is in its second decade, we are proud that most of our teachers have been with the school for more than five (5) years and many for more than ten (10) years!
Our preschool curriculum is enriched by trained specialty teachers. Each class enjoys a weekly music lesson with our music specialist as well as a weekly lesson with our physical education instructor. For our 3-, 4- and 5-year old classes, we offer a gardening and nutrition program, and our Gesher (pre-K) program affords the opportunity to participate in a weekly hip-hop class. In addition, the entire school enjoys a weekly Shabbat celebration with our Rabbis in the sanctuary.
