Each year, the Beth Am Men's Club joins together with our TNT 7th grade students and their families to participate in the global World Wide Wrap — a powerful morning where Jews around the world unite in the mitzvah of wrapping tefillin. No experience needed — we have extra sets and welcome beginners with open arms. After the wrap, stick around for a delicious nosh and great conversation.</span>

All proceeds benefit the BAMC Scholarship Fund, supporting meaningful Jewish experiences like trips to Israel and Jewish summer camps for our youth.</span>

These are casual backyard meetings that include food and drink and are always fun and productive. The Beth Am Men's Club (BAMC)  is dedicated to involving men of all ages in Jewish life through social, religious and service activities. We provide quality and relevant programming to help develop and enhance our knowledge and understanding of Judaism, and provide needed services and support to the synagogue.

 

We offer a full calendar of social events, including our annual Steak & Scotch event, Annual Poker Tournament, Fantasy Football, and more. Besides the social aspect of the Beth Am Men's Club, we also host social action "tikkun olam" events, such as JFS Parking Lot project, and the Movember awareness month. One of our more treasured programs in the BAMC Summer Scholarship program which helps enable one of our own young members to participate in a Jewish summer camp experience of Israel trip. 

 

The members of the Beth Am Men’s Club lead a Shabbat service during the year, and act as greeters and ushers during the High Holy Days. And finally, at our annual World Wide Wrap event, we even serve as instructors for how to properly lay Tefillin.

 

We welcome all male community members to join us and help us fulfill our goal of service to the synagogue. This year, annual dues ($36.00) must be paid directly online – we are no longer able to charge your Beth Am account.   Please click on the join now and pay your annual dues online. Note that you must be a BAMC member to attend most of our events.

 

BAMC Scholarship Program:

We are excited to once to offer the BAMC Summer Scholarship to a Beth Am Youth! The BAMC Summer Scholarship seeks to help our young adults deepen their Jewish experience through trips to Israel, Jewish summer camp, and the like. The application will be available in December 2022. The award recipient will be announced at our Men's Club Shabbat in January.
