Book of Remembrance 5785

Almighty God, we thank You for the gift which unites the generations. This hour of memorial bids us to be mindful of the unnumbered loved ones who preceded us on earth that we might live our lives that we may be worthy children of our parents.

As we affectionately recall their names and their lives, we think of the joys which their presence afforded us, of the inspiration we knew by their side, of the love that gave meaning to our days, of the goodness which resided in their hearts.

We remember with gratitude the blessings which were ours and we lift our hearts in thanksgiving to Thee for having bestowed our dear ones upon us.
